Wayne Rooney’s £3,000 golfing cart written off by his son immediately after he crashes it into fishing lake at their mansion

1 of Wayne Rooney’s small children has prepared off his  £3,000 golfing buggy — by driving it  into a fishing lake.

The previous England footballer  and wife Coleen splashed out  on the   4×4 buggy so the loved ones could whizz all over their  40-acre estate in design and style.

But Wayne explained it arrived to a soggy close when a single of his four boys accidentally drove it into just one of the two guy-created lakes he had built  at the manison around Knutsford, Cheshire.

None of Coleen and Wayne’s lads — Kai, 14, Klay, 11, Package, eight, and Cass, 6 — were hurt  but the buggy was a publish-off.

Ex-DC United supervisor Wayne, 38, told    his previous teammate Gary Neville about the crash on Sky Bet’s The Overlap programme, which was filmed at his house. Gary, 49, mentioned: “Do you go swimming in that lake?”

He replied: “I would not. We’ve experienced a golfing buggy go in it. The working day I’ve long gone to The usa as supervisor. I went to the airport and a person of the young ones, straight in.”

Wayne did not identify which son was concerned, but supporters believe that eldest son Kai is the most most likely offender.

In June 2022, schoolboy footie prospect Kai posted a online video on Instagram displaying him racing  in a auto. He captioned a video clip clip with “Sunday be like” as he confirmed off his driving competencies on the private road.

A month later  Wayne became DC United’s new head coach.

Wayne and Coleen moved into their mansion in December 2021.

It features a Television space, snooker home,  wine retail store, cinema, health and fitness center and swimming pool, as perfectly as a tunnel to a 6-automobile garage.

The grounds also  have stables, an orangery and a comprehensive-dimension artificial turf football pitch.
