Woollaston ready to go

The players are making their way to the tables and Ben Woollaston has had a quick catch-up with Eurosport.

He said: “It’s the first time in a few years where I can compete and do well so hopefully that is going to happen.

“After Covid I could not practice for long periods. The last six months I have practised and been able to play for a full day. That’s why my results have been better this season.

“I have played really solid in the first two matches and I’ve not missed anything easy.”

On Hossein Vafaei, he said: “He’s one of the toughest outside the top 16.”
