A WOMAN has revealed that her neighbour left an angry note on her car claiming they would get her fined for having an expired registration plate.
However, Michaela Leslie, who is from the US, wrote a message back to her neighbour explaining the truth, and it’s left many totally stunned.
Posting on social media, the young woman revealed that her neighbour, who claimed to work in law enforcement, typed up and printed out a threatening note and stuck it on her car windshield.
But the content creator revealed that she was keen to share the situation with the angry neighbour – as in fact, the car in question actually belonged to her deceased mother.
In the short clip shared online, Michaela claimed: “My neighbour left a note on my windshield today.”
Michaela then gave her followers a close-up look at the note, which read: ‘I am a law enforcement officer who lives in the neighbourhood. I’ve noticed this vehicle parked here on several occasions.

‘Also, I notice that the Colorado registration is expired – 2019.’
In bold, the message continued: ‘If you’re operating this vehicle in the state of California with an expired Colorado registration, the fine for this is very hefty.
‘I would strongly suggest that you either get the vehicle currently registered in Colorado or in California. I would do this ASAP.
‘If I see the vehicle here again with the expired Colorado registration, I will take action to process a fine in accordance with California law.
‘Again, I would strongly suggest you not let this happen.’
But Michaela then shared her response, as she attempted to explain the situation.
Michaela’s note penned: ‘My mom died. This is her car.
‘I will register, but please have a bit of patience. Thanks.’
