Unbelievable footage shows missiles being released from the warplane ahead of the strike on the HQ in Sevastopol.
The clip skips to show plumes of smoke billowing into the air above the base.
Onlookers watch on in disbelief at the strike that occurred last year.
The commander of Kyiv’s air force, General Mykola Oleshchuk, released last year’s footage marking Ukrainian Air Force Day.
The proud General said: “Victory on the ground is forged in heaven.”
Despite the strike on the Black Sea Fleet HQ taking place in September 2023, this is the first time in the war footage has been seen of the release of a Storm Shadow from a Ukrainian war plane.
It is an Su-24 supersonic, twin-engine, variable-sweep wing aircraft.
The Storm Shadow is a long-range air-launched cruise missile developed by Britain and France.
They can travel up to a whopping 600mph and blast targets up to 350 miles away.
Britain led Western countries in supplying war-torn Ukraine with long range missiles.
Oleshchuk said: “This became possible thanks to the powerful support of our Western partners.
“I thank them for their conscious position in the defence of peace and democracy, our people.
“The soldiers of the Air Force showed great courage, heroism, professionalism and ingenuity and high-quality and skilful use of modern Western weapons.”
The destruction of the headquarters forced Russia to move its Black Sea command and fleet further east from Sevastopol, in annexed Crimea.
Many of Putin’s remaining warships are now based in Novorossiysk – further from Ukraine’s reach.
The old footage comes after Ukraine obliterated one of Putin’s prized Black Sea submarines in an impressive attack on occupied Crimea.
Kyiv forces said the prized Kilo-class Rostov-on-Don vessel, worth £275 million, was hit in a missile barrage on the Sevastopol port.
Ukraine’s attack on Friday also “significantly damaged” four of Putin’s ultramodern S-400 air defence systems – worth in total around £2 billion.
Kyiv claimed the missile barrage also targeted four vital launches of Russia’s “Triumf” air defence system.
The Kilo-class Rostov submarine – used to fire calibre class missiles on Ukraine – had been hit in September last year, but was then repaired.
It was due to go back into service when Ukraine staged the lethal strike on Friday night.
Ukrainian forces used deadly US-made ATACMS missiles for the hit.
The mammoth sub was on sea trials in the water around Sevastopol when it was sunk, according to reports.
Kyiv is known for its impressive targeting of Russian naval targets amid Putin’s illegal war in Ukraine and the sub marks a big milestone for Zelensky’s forces.
