Cops caught suspect Clifford after a manhunt

The 26-year-old is suspected of the murders of three women at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

Video shows Clifford being led away by cops as the manhunt came to an end.

An ambulance with sirens blaring then left the graveyard this afternoon amid the major manhunt – before cops confirmed the suspect had been caught.

Cops said Clifford is receiving treatment for injuries, having been found injured no shots were fired by the force.

Police confirmed it was believed Clifford was known to the victims.

Carol Hunt, 61 – the wife of BBC racing commentator John Hunt – and their daughters Louise, 25, and Hannah, 28, were found dead inside their home last night.

A haunting photo also emerged showing Clifford with ex-girlfriend Louise.

Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said: “This continues to be an incredibly difficult time for the victims’ family and we would ask that their privacy is respected as they come to terms with what has happened.

“This investigation is moving at pace and formal identification of the victims is yet to take place.

“The premature naming of potential victims has caused great upset to the family when they should’ve been given the space to come to terms with their sudden loss.
