McDonald’s set to launch winter menu in DAYS and it includes a brand new burger and ‘delicious’ pie

MCDONALD’S has revealed it is just days away from unleashing its Christmas menu for 2024 including a spin on a festive chocolate.

Next week fast food lovers will be able to get their hands on two never-seen-before menu items, as well as some returning fan favourites.

1

The Terry’s Chocolate Orange Pie will be available from next Wednesday for £1.99

For just £1.99, customers can soon buy a Terry’s Chocolate Orange Pie – a crispy chocolate pastry with a Chocolate Orange-flavoured ganache filling.

When The Sun did a taste-test of the new item, reporter Sam Walker classed it as “delicious”.

And McDonald’s fans can get their hands on this item as early as next Wednesday, with the new seasonal menu launching on November 20.

The other brand new addition to this year’s winter menu is the Cheesy McCrispy, priced from £5.99.

The burger comes with all the usual fillings in a classic McCrispy, such as a crispy chicken fillet, bacon, lettuce, crispy onions and pink pickled onion chutney – plus two slices of cheese and cheese sauce.

McDonald’s lovers will also be delighted to learn of a few returning items blessing menus this winter, including the much-loved Big Tasty.

The Big Tasty will be making its comeback after being axed in March, priced at £7.59 – or £8.39 if you want to add bacon.

It consists of a beef patty with Emmental cheese, onions, tomatoes and smoky barbecue sauce, all layered inside a toasted bun.

Another returning fan-favourite is The Cheese Melt Dippers with tomato sauce for £2.49 standard size and £6.79 sharing size.

Combining breaded Camembert cheese with a spiced tomato dip, this festive item will be seen for the first time since it was temporarily dropped from menus at the beginning of 2024.

And for even more Terry’s Chocolate Orange goodness, the Terry’s Chocolate Orange McFlurry is back for the first time since 2023.

For regular size this will cost £2.19, and for a mini McFlurry, £1.59.

The sweet treat includes soft swirl ice cream with mini segments of Terry’s Chocolate Orange and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange sauce.

A Galaxy Caramel option will also be rejoining the McFlurry menu for the same price, with Galaxy chocolate stars and caramel sauce.

If you’re just looking for a festive hot drink, customers can also get their hands on a Galaxy Caramel Latte or Hot Chocolate for £2.69.

Inside the £3.49 meal deal, which comes with a main, side and drink, you could also get one of eight Grinch of Friends Toys.

Happy Meal buyers could also luck out on Christmas decorations or a deck of Grinch family playing cards.

These new additions, as well as all the new winter menu items, will be available for the next six weeks – so you’ll have to be quick to try.

What will be dropped from the McDonald’s menu?

With the return of a winter menu sadly also comes an end to the autumn range.

Customers will be waving goodbye to the Toffee Apple Pie, the Mini Hash Browns, the Cheese Bites and the Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate and Latte.

Remember, however, that many popular items tend to return – so keep an eye out for any new announcements.

You can do this by turning on notifications for the McDonald’s App, or by checking their website.

How to save at McDonald’s

You could end up being charged more for a McDonald’s meal based solely on the McDonald’s restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald’s receipts.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald’s app, so it’s worth signing up to get money off your meals.

The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.

You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a My McDonald’s app user.

The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details – otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats.

How do I find my nearest McDonald’s?

If you’re planning on taking a trip to McDonald’s, you’ll want to know where your nearest branch is.

The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.

McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am – after that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.
