MARRIED At First Sight Australia has been thrown into chaos after three couples and one groom quit the experiment.
The Nine Network show’s upcoming season has been plagued by drama, with a mass walkout by cast members and allegations of toxic behavior.
It’s been claimed several couples left the show just days into filming, citing concerns about their matches and the atmosphere on set.
It’s been reported that Gold Coast groom Eliot Donovan threw in the towel just hours after marrying his bride, Lauren Hall.
He allegedly booked his ticket home before the ink was even dry on their marriage certificate.
An insider told Daily Mail Australia: “Eliot was anything but impressed when he met Lauren. From that moment, it was downhill.

“By the next morning, Eliot wanted out—no second thoughts, no hesitation. Everyone was shocked, asking, ‘WTF is going on?’
“Eliot was nothing short of disrespectful, not just to Lauren but to the entire crew.”
Lauren is thought to have been left humiliated by the saga.
In addition, the first commitment ceremony saw a shocking number of couples decide to call it quits.
Three pairs walked away within the first two weeks of filming, leaving panicked bosses hoping to bring in an intruder couple to fill the gaping hole.
The recent walkouts have reportedly caused a rift among the remaining cast members.
While some are relieved to see the departures of those they considered “toxic”, others are furious and are accusing them of being “weak”.
MAFS producers have since taken a firm stance against toxic and misogynistic behaviour, instructing brides and grooms to confront any disrespectful treatment from their partners.
Season 12 is set to air in 2025.
