Kevin Costner secretly battled kidney stones although filming 2016’s Hidden Figures.
“I’ve never ever labored drunk on a set. Costner portrayed Al Harrison in Hidden Figures, a movie about a few Black girls (Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson) who worked for NASA on astronaut John Glenn’s journey to space. Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monae portrayed the historic females, respectively. Costner’s character, in the meantime was loosely based on Robert C. Gilruth, who was the 1st director of the Johnson Room Centre in Houston.
