Jennifer Coolidge Reveals Glam Hairstyle in New Discover Ad (Excl)

Jennifer Coolidge has partnered with Discover for another hilarious — and hair-raising! —commercial, and Us Weekly has the exclusive first look.

The new ad, that officially begins airing on Tuesday, Nov. 12, is centered around the misperceptions that surround Discover, but the beloved comedian sets the record straight.

Coolidge brings her credit card to the salon, insisting it’s her “treat” to cover her new ‘do — but says it’s a don’t to think her Discover wouldn’t be accepted.

“Of course, they take Discover — it’s accepted at 99 percent of places,” Coolidge quips in the ad, before stating she isn’t living in the past anymore.

That is, until she reveals she’s a blast from the past courtesy of ‘80s hair metal glam.

In an exclusive interview with Us about Discover’s “Especially for Everyone” campaign, the Emmy Award winner says she doesn’t hold back when it comes to having fun in the commercials, which she has creatively collaborated on since 2023.

“Discover hasn’t asked me to sort of rein anything in, or, you know, act more civilized or anything,” Coolidge said. “I think they must think I’m kind of goofy. They want me to definitely reveal my personality, which is kind of nice. Sometimes people have this idea of how you should act, and I feel like at this moment in my life, I don’t even know if I could. You get to a certain age and it comes out anyway. I think you just have to be yourself because if you try to control it, it’s sort of interesting [and] oozes out anyway.”

Coolidge added with a laugh, “It’s so funny how people have these fake haunted stories about my house. You know, I live in the house [and] I would definitely have seen that little girl with a bouncing ball going down my staircase.”

Filming the ad was a natural fit for Coolidge, who already uses her Discover card to pay for all sorts of purchases — and she always splurges.
