Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen make working alongside your spouse look like a piece of cake — or maybe a bag of popcorn — on their new series, Dinner and a Movie, but they admit it isn’t always as easy as it looks.

“It’s always tricky working with your spouse because he’s going to say things to me that he would never say to another actress or cohost, [he] just couldn’t get away with it,” Mollen, 45, said of Biggs, 46, whom she married in 2008, in the latest edition of Us Weekly, on newsstands now.

“Like what? ‘Show me your boobs?’” Biggs joked back to his wife, to which Mollen replied: “‘Show me your boobs.’ ‘Suck my d—k.’ I’m just kidding. But you can say to your wife, ‘No, Jenny, don’t do it that way,’ and it can be helpful. … It is more casual, which can be amazing, but it can also lead to a lot of couples’ therapy sessions.”

The TBS show — a reboot of the series of the same name which ran from 1995 to 2011 — features the couple as they revisit the films of their youth along with themed culinary treats and the help of special guest stars.

Jason Biggs proved he’s just like Us by playing the relatable Jim in 1999’s American Pie. While looking back on his breakout role Biggs, 46, acknowledges that the coming-of-age film is “a bit of a time capsule now” for the late ’90s. However, he believes that American Pie still resonates with the younger generation. “I […]

“It’s interesting to see what holds up [and] what doesn’t,” Biggs told Us of the show, which features films like Die Hard and The Goonies and airs every Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on TBS. “It’s been fun to get to re-experience these films again.”

Mollen added: “We have a relationship with a lot of the guests that come in, and we’re able to infuse it with our own personal little stories. … I just think that adds another layer onto a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the movie.”

While their chemistry on-screen is undeniable (they actually met while filming My Best Friend’s Girl in 2007, eloping less than a year later), Us put Biggs’ and Mollen’s spousal knowledge — after over 15 years of marriage — to the test by asking them questions from another iconic television series: The Newlywed Game.

Keep scrolling to see the two actors prove how well they really know each other — with their characteristic raunchy humor infused, of course:

What is Jason’s favorite movie?

Jenny: Jason’s favorite movie? One that he stars in, for sure. Anything that he stars in is Jason’s favorite movie.

Jason: Come on, give a real answer. You know one. I actually did audition for it. I talk about this one a lot actually. … It’s the one I talk about that I need to see with the kids. Matches my last name.

Jenny: He loves Christmas Story. I think that’s very nostalgic.

Jason: That’s not the movie I’m talking about, though. What’s my last name?

Jenny: Oh! Big. He loves the movie Big.

What’s Jenny’s favorite drink?

Jason: Her favorite drink is water, and she switches back and forth between flat water and sparkling water.

Jenny: I’m annoying like that. I’m a Gemini like that. My family calls me the camel because they think that I can’t get hydrated. I drink too much water.

Who is the most competitive?

Jason: Jenny.

Jenny: Jason, for sure.

Who is the first to apologize?

Jason: Jason.

Jenny: Jason. Yeah.

What is Jason’s go-to karaoke song?

Jenny: Jason should not sing. It’s not something he should ever do. I would say Jason has anxiety with singing, but right now I would say that he loves to do some Noah Kahan impersonating. He’s really into Noah Kahan, so he sings along to that.

Jason: She’s not wrong. I’m a terrible singer. It makes me anxious. I don’t do karaoke. But if I had to — ”No, Jason, you’re up. Here’s the mic. Pick a song” — I’d probably do a rap song so that I can [be] old school.

Jenny: I’ve never heard you rap. What are you talking about?

Jason: No, but I know all the lyrics to old school Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. I would go up and do one of those.

Jenny: Or Dave Matthews. You’re also that bro.

Jason: But I can’t sing the song. I would never. I can’t.

Jenny: No. Even when we’re singing “Happy Birthday,” I’m always like, “Jason, softer.”

Jenny: Jason.

Jason: Jenny.

Jenny: What? Oh, my God. I packed for this trip…

Jason: Packing is not the question. Getting ready to go out? Please, come on.

Jenny: Honey, I feel like I’m always ready before you. And then you’re like, “Do these shoes, these shoes, this watch or this watch? This watch or this watch? These shoes? Do you like these pants? Is this shirt too long?” These are all Jason quotes. Did I just nail it?

Jason: You did. But how come I’m always at the front door going, “Babe, are you ready?” And you’re, like, in the back still.

Jenny: You know why? Because he’s busy doing that [and] eventually I just give up. I’m like, “I’m not going for a while.” And then I kick my shoes off, I go relax. And then all of the sudden he’s at the front door like, “Where are you?”

Jason: She wore a green and black patterned Diane von Furstenberg dress.

Jenny: That wasn’t the first date. That was the firehouse.

Jason: Which was our second date? Third date?

Jenny: Yes.

Jason: First date. Oh, our blind date. The first time we met. Oh, man, I don’t remember. Do you remember?

Jenny: Yes. I still own it.

Jason: What did I wear?

Jenny: You wore a white T-shirt. It was a baseball team or something. And jeans and a cap.

Jason: I looked good. That looked really good.

Jenny: Yeah.

Jason: What did you wear on our first date?

Jenny: It was, like, a blue, Urban Outfitters little sheath dress that I had belted and tied with tiny little heels.

Jason: Sheath. Is that a word?

Who said “I love you” first?

Jenny: Oh, I don’t even remember. I just remember Jason saying that he wasn’t ready for a relationship and then he proposed to me a few weeks later.

Jason: I’m still not ready for a relationship. Happy to be married, but not ready for a relationship. I stand by that. Maybe you did, in your car.

Jenny: I don’t think I ever would’ve said, “I love you” first. It sounds like a not me thing to do. I was playing it way too cool.

What actor or actress would play each of you in a movie?

Jenny: Insert any other Jewish looking…

Jason: Jason Schwartzman for me?

Jenny: I don’t know. Jason Schwartzman feels, like, too emo for you somehow. I don’t know that he quite taps into the…

Jason: I’ll tell you who I’d love to play me. Justin Long.

Jenny: I feel like Jesse Eisenberg, maybe.

Jason: Jesse’s good. Yeah. He’s great. That would be good. Jesse Eisenberg.

Jenny: I don’t think Schwartzman’s neurotic enough in a way. He feels more, like, “go with the flow,” which is not Jason.

Jason: And then for you, who would it be? Like Rachel McAdams, maybe.

Jenny: I feel like it needs to be somebody who’s a bit more of a disaster, like a mess.

Jason: Sharon Stone?

Jason: But current Sharon Stone.

Jenny: Love it. I’ll take it, anyway. She’s gorg.
