A PETITE fashionista has revealed she’s found the perfect high street dupe for Molly-Mae Hague’s £100 jeans – and they’re £65 cheaper.

Nicole Macdonald, from Glasgow, regularly shares her shopping hauls on social media (@nicolemac134) and is a self-professed M&S addict.

She told Fabulous: “I started shopping at M&S as I was looking for affordable quality basics for work. Once I discovered their Autograph collection, they became my go-to!

“I opt for M&S before any other fashion brand, as I know I’m going to get pieces that are on-trend which aren’t going to fall apart after one wash.

“People often come out with the phrase ‘I thought it [M&S] was just granny clothes’ but I encourage everyone to go have a browse, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

“The merchandising is really well done, great inspiration for those who might struggle with dressing themselves.”

On a recent trip to her favourite store, the 33-year-old bagged a £35 pair of wide leg black denim jeans.

And she couldn’t help but notice they bear a striking resemblance to Levi’s baggy dad jeans, a firm favourite for Love Islander Molly-Mae, which are priced at £100.

Sharing her top find with other fashion fans, Nicole said in a short video: “Do you know those jeans that Molly-Mae’s wearing right now that you cannot get because they’re sold out? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.

“These jeans are £35, right, as opposed to £100.

“They’re super comfortable, they’ve got stretch and you could buy [three colours] that they’ve got in this style for the price of one pair of Levi’s.”

She added: “Now, don’t get me wrong, I am a Levi’s girl. I don’t normally buy anything apart from Levi’s, but for now, I may be converted.

‘It’s the new Zara,’ shoppers cry as they run to M&S to get their hands on ‘the best top’ which is perfect day or night

“I am five foot tall, for anybody that doesn’t know. I bought the regular length and I’ve got a heeled boot on.

“They are perfect for me, I don’t need to get them taken up, it’s music to my ears, it’s probably music to all you petite gals’ ears.

“But if you wanted to wear a wee kitten heel or you wanted to wear a pair of flats, go for the short length. Because M&S do do the short length.”

The M&S Wide-Leg Jeans are available in six shades of denim – medium indigo, black, chocolate, ecru, indigo mix and light denim – and come in sizes six to 24 in short, regular and long.

Describing them, store bosses say: “Fitting slim at the hips and loose through the leg, wide-leg jeans are the statement style that’s incredibly comfy.

“This high-waisted pair comes in an authentic stretch denim that’s made using soft, responsibly sourced cotton.

“Wear them with heels for a leg-lengthening look or with trainers for a more dressed-down take.”

And Nicole’s not the only one loving the slouchy denim jeans as they’ve racked up more than 1,300 five-star reviews on the M&S website.

One delighted shopper gushed: “Goodbye skinny jeans, hello much more comfortable.

“Really flattering and easy to wear, look great with just about everything, give you an elegant shape and are very forgiving skimming your shape.

“On trend and perfect for the new cooler season.”

A second chimed in: “Extremely comfortable, covers all lumps and bumps, sits perfectly on the waist and although I was hesitant about getting wide leg they look fantastic and gave the appearance of longer legs.

“Material is soft and the right thickness. Would highly recommend and I’m a size 20.”

Meanwhile, a third wrote: “A core staple of my wardrobe since purchasing.

“Very comfortable, the style and cut make them office appropriate and they are not constraining so its easy to sit at a desk all day in them!”
