Inside Wimbledon’s star-studded VIP suite where Stormzy, Helen Mirren & Isla Fisher feast on strawberries and champagne

CELEBRITY-spotting at Wimbledon has become as commonplace as enjoying strawberries and cream on a showery match day.

A-list stars from all over the world flock to London for the two-week tournament in July – with punters likely to catch sight of a famous face walking into Centre Court.

But the ‘money-can’t-buy’ areas are where the stars enjoy a delicious lunch to set them up for an exciting day of tennis.

As the official water of The Championships for the 15th year running, evian hosted celebrity guests inside its Mountain of Youth VIP suite celebrating joy and wellness.

Stormzy, Dame Helen Mirren and Isla Fisher were among the big names who struck lucky with a golden ticket.

The Mountain of Youth-themed suite, situated a stone’s throw from Court One, offers guests a balcony over-looking the outskirts of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

There you’ll find a pic and mix stand – where singer Pixie Lott and AJ Tracey could be found mingling.

Back inside the pink-themed VIP area was a ping pong table and screens to watch the tennis from indoors.

Celebs enjoyed a five-star buffet followed by afternoon tea and a bottomless supply of champagne and Pimm’s.

Those being hosted by the Wimbledon sponsor were also gifted Centre Court tickets to see the likes of Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz play.

Guests were even treated to a limited-edition evian refillable bottle with their name on to celebrate evian’s unique refill pilot system.

For the first time ever, spectators at Wimbledon can stay hydrated with through a unique refill pilot system, encouraging fans to refill and reuse with evian.

On Sunday’s final there was a standing ovation for the Princess of Wales as she entered the royal box to watch Djokovic vs Alcaraz.

Cancer-stricken Kate Middleton, 42, made a return to Centre Court to rapturous applause.

Tom Cruise and Benedict Cumberbatch were also in attendance on the final day of the tournament.

Weird and wonderful Wimbledon facts

THERE are 53,000 tennis balls used at the tournament every year.

  • The tennis balls are kept in the fridge at 20 degrees to maintain its pristine condition.
  • Male and female players are allowed two toilet breaks per match – and must ask permission
  • The roof over Centre Court takes ten minutes to open or close.
  • The optimum playing height of Centre Court’s grass is 8mm.
