HALLOWEEN might be over but one mum claims casting spells brought her true love, helped her to slim down, conceive her children and even be a better mum.
Inbaal Honigman, 50, she tells Fabulous she did use magic to get her children – Tove, 14, Vigo, 12, Zevi, 9, Ludo, 7 – into her top school choice.
Speaking on behalf of tarot and psychic reading platform Tarotoo, Inbaal Honigman reveals: “My daughter Tove couldn’t go to our local school as it was full, so she went to a great school nearby.
“When it came time for Vigo to go, Tove’s school was full so he was sent to the local one.
“He was so devastated at being separated from his sister, he went mute. We didn’t get a word out of him for almost five months while we were fighting the case.
“I was very persistent with the local authority but I also used spells to get the result I wanted. They were simple spells to inspire determination and fire within.
“Finally, I got an appeal date and it landed on Halloween, which is a witch’s new year and a time for endings and new beginnings. It was also a full moon, so everything was working in my favour and my son got a place.”
Inbaal – who has been a practising witch since the 90s – says her youngest Ludo was also turned away from his siblings’ school, so she used more aggressive spells.
“I took a photo of my youngest next to his siblings’ school emblem and used that as a photo for magical focus,” she says.
“I also took a photo of him with his siblings and posted it to my Instagram, asking my followers to slide across on the photo as if they were pushing him to his brothers.
“The school also had a waiting list and if a new child moved to the area, they would get priority over my son.
“So I wrote all the names down on paper, put it in a jar of water and froze it to prevent anything from changing. Once again, my spells worked.”
Inbaal started reading tarot cards back in 1995, which sparked a strong interest in the spiritual world and witchcraft.
She then began reading books and even took a witchcraft course in a London shop before being invited to a large Witches public ritual.
It was there she met a new friend who would become her mentor and High Priestess, and her journey into the world truly began.
I cast the spell over the summer solstice, which also fell on Father’s Day and our daughter was born nine months later

Eager to find love, the astrologer reveals she cast a spell on Halloween 2004 to find true love and met her husband Sean soon after.
“I took a ritual bath, using rose and geranium essential oils which promote love,” she says.
“I put a statue of the Greek love Goddess Aphrodite by the side of the bath, closed my eyes and meditated on a man who works in a suit, with red hair and has a good sense of humour.
“I met him the following year and we hit it off instantly. We’ve been married for 17 years now.”
Before starting a family, Inbaal was told by doctors she was too overweight to conceive, but the power of witchcraft helped her shed an incredible seven stone.
And when she still struggled to fall pregnant, she embarked on a series of fertility spells to achieve her dream family.
“I have battled my weight for years but I knew something had to change.
“Magic is great for self-improvement so for fitness, I would light a red candle with some cinnamon oil, and for health, I would go for something lavender-based.
“I’d light it during the waning moon, as that’s great for weight loss, and let it burn down.
“It sparked something within me to change and I managed to shed the weight with ease.”
But it wasn’t just her weight that Inbaal discovered she could aid with the help of her new found magic.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR A TAROT READING
Another essential thing to keep in mind is your energy.
Audrey, the spiritual guide, intuitive empath, and cosmic channeler behind the website The Intuitive Mind Geek, describes how professional readers who use their cards rely on their mental states as conductors of energies for their clients’ readings.
“The cards depend on me as a channel and for my channel to be clear for my readings to be accurate.”
“This means it is up to me to properly reset my own energy before starting readings and in between readings while doing readings on Lives and back-to-back clients.”
“I use a simple “energy call back” technique that I actually recently shared on my TikTok two days ago. I simply say, ‘I call back my energy from all timelines, dimensions, realities, people, places, and things,’ … to clear out the energy and refresh for the next client.”

“When I still couldn’t fall pregnant, I obtained a spell from a big witch, which was a series of affirmations to read out loud and some ribbons to tie into knots,” she says.
“I cast the spell over the summer solstice, which also fell on Father’s Day and our daughter was born nine months later.
“I used spells to conceive all of my children.
“With my second, I went to a witch’s shop and the gentleman who worked there wrote a spell on a scroll and made me a potion. I had to read the spell out loud three times a day and place the potion by my bed. It worked like a charm.”
While witches may have not earned the best reputation in popular culture, with past fears they may practise malevolent or harmful magic, Inbaal insists it’s a peaceful community full of love.
“Witches believe in the law of threefold return, so anything you put out, you’ll get back three times as much,” she says.
“For this reason, I would absolutely never curse anyone. The best spell for your enemies is to show them love.
“Being a witch has brought me nothing but joy.
“I’ve turned to magic in every hard time and it’s helped me achieve my dream life.”
