New details have been confirmed surrounding Hoda Kotb’s exit from the Today show. During the Thursday, November 14, episode of the NBC morning program, it was revealed that the 60-year-old anchor will officially depart her role on January 10, 2025. “That will be our party day,” Kotb said as her colleague Savannah Guthrie added that the entire Today family will “spend a whole week celebrating” Kotb’s career. Following her final episode, Craig Melvin will step in for the first and second hours of the show beginning January 13, 2025. “[Hoda], you’ve been the heart of this place for a long time.
