Pluto TV, one of the oldest free, ad-supported streaming services, will gain seven new channels next month including a perk for movie lovers.
And they’re available free of charge for Roku and Fire Stick users.

While the streamer has yet to reveal the exact date the new channels will arrive, they’ve offered a sneak peek at what users can expect.
Among the new arrivals is Alien Nation by Dust, a channel for fans of the supernatural and extraterrestrial.
The content focuses on phenomena like alien abductions and ghost encounters.
Cheaters, the wildly popular reality show, is getting a dedicated channel.
The show aired for 15 seasons, running from 2000 to 2021. Each episode featured a different couple, with investigations headed by the “Cheaters Detective Agency” to determine if a partner was cheating.
Three new FOX channels – FOX SOUL, FOX Weather, and LiveNOW from FOX – will also make an appearance.
FOX SOUL is a live-streaming service with a focus on Black culture. The programs aim to capture diverse perspectives from within the Black community.
FOX Weather, as implied by the name, will provide coverage of all weather events big and small.
LiveNOW from FOX offers a nonstop stream of breaking news and live stories across the United States.
Another spin-off of a popular show, This Old House’s Makers Channel, is perfect for DIYers.
The channel features episodes headed by top woodworkers, designers, metalworkers, and more.
Lastly, Star Trek fans are in for a treat, as all 13 theatrical films will be available for a limited time on Star Trek: The Motion Pictures.
In addition to the hundreds of free titles available through Pluto TV, dozens of new films are arriving in August.
These include cult classics like The Matrix and Pulp Fiction, plus several installments in the Star Trek franchise.
Pluto TV is home to an expansive selection of live TV, with shows and films from over 200 content partners.
Last month, the streamer scored a distribution deal with Fremantle for 25 new channels, giving users access to even more free content.

The media conglomerate merged with CBS in December 2019, creating Paramount Global and expanding Pluto TV’s content offerings.
The company revealed in its 2023 Q1 earnings call that Pluto TV had reached 80 million active monthly users, making it the number one FAST service in the world.
