Flights cancelled as fog rolls in with millions waking up to sub-zero temperatures and ‘hazardous’ ice – The Sun

A number of flights have been cancelled at Belfast City airport in the early hours of this morning.

The axed flights include BA services to Heathrow and Southampton as well as a string of Aer Lingus departures.

A yellow fog warning is in force for a swathe of southern, central and western England until 11am this morning.

Another fog warning was in place for the whole of Northern Ireland overnight.
