Family pays tribute to ‘kindest’ lady, 17, who died immediately after ‘being spiked’ at Dreamland pageant in Margate

A HEARTBROKEN family members have paid out tribute to the “kindest” 17-year-previous woman who they claim was spiked at a festival.

Emily Stokes passed away in clinic on the night of June 29, with a police investigation ongoing.

She experienced been attending a drum and bass competition at Dreamland amusement park in Margate, Kent.

Emily’s older sister Megan has a released a GoFundMe website page.

She claimed: “Emily was the kindest individual you could at any time satisfy she was so entire of everyday living and to have her taken away so instantly at just only 17 a long time previous.

“It has absolutely broke me and it breaks my heart that we may not be in a position to give her the deliver off she would’ve desired.

“So I have set this up so ideally we can give her the most effective deliver off.”

A spokesperson for Kent Police explained: “Kent Police was identified as at 5.58pm on Saturday, June 29 to be made mindful of the dying of a 17-12 months-outdated female at the QEQM clinic in Margate.

“Inquiries are ongoing to set up the circumstances surrounding the death and a report is staying manufactured for the coroner.”

A spokesperson for Dreamland mentioned: “We are deeply saddened to find out of the loss of life of a 17-calendar year-aged female in medical center on
Saturday June 29.

“Our views and prayers are with the young woman’s relatives and mates and we will go on to do the job carefully with Kent Law enforcement where pertinent as they examine this tragedy even further.”

The Solar has absent to police in excess of the family’s claims and has approached Dreamland for further remark.
