Donna Kelce Wears Eagles Gear in Hallmark’s Christmas on Call

Donna Kelce is showing her support for both NFL sons, Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce, through brief roles in Hallmark holiday movies.

While it’s been widely publicized that Donna, 71, has a bit part in the network’s highly anticipated Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, she actually made her acting debut in another holiday rom-com one week earlier.

Christmas on Call premiered on Friday, November 22, following a pair of Philadelphia-based first responders working throughout the holiday season. The film stars Sara Canning as ER doctor Hannah Michaels and Ser’Darius Blain as paramedic Wes Sullivan.

As Philly local Wes shows newbie Hannah the sights at Christmastime, they stop at a cheesesteak restaurant that is “close to [his] heart.”

“Hey Wes, how are you doing?” Donna, wearing one of Jason’s No. 62 Philadelphia Eagles jerseys and an armful of color-coordinating friendship bracelets, says when Wes and Hannah step up to the counter to place an order.

Wes replies, “Hi, Donna, looks like you’re keeping busy in here.”

She responds, “All day, every day! You know, it’s Christmas.”

Donna placed Wes and Hannah’s orders — featuring “whiz with,” naturally — before exclaiming, “Go Birds!” (Jason, 37, played center for the Eagles for 13 years, retiring in March.)

Moments later, Donna left her perch at the counter to check on Wes and Hannah’s lunch and deliver an order of fries “on the house.”

“Anyone that can make Wes look that happy deserves a treat,” Donna adds. “Have fun, kids — but not too much fun.”

Donna will return to the network in the November 30 premiere of Holiday Touchdown, a collaboration between Hallmark and the Kansas City Chiefs. While Travis, 35, notably plays tight end for the Chiefs, the film is not a biopic about Travis’ relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.

In Holiday Touchdown, also starring Hallmark staples Tyler Hynes and Hunter King, Donna plays another restaurant worker with her same name. Instead of slinging cheesesteaks, she’ll be serving up KC’s famous barbecue.

Donna has previously been candid about joining the Hallmark ranks for the respective holiday movies.

“It’s nothing major,” she told Vulture in September of her “little teeny cameos” in both Holiday Touchdown and Christmas on Call. “It just was something that they thought they’d throw in the movie. So, it’s kind of fun. One of them’s about Philly and the other one’s about the Chiefs. So it kinda made sense.”

Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story premieres Saturday, November 30, at 8 p.m. ET and will be available to stream on Peacock and Hallmark+. Christmas on Call is also currently available to stream on Peacock and Hallmark+.
