The late Christopher Reeve’s son Will Reeve will reportedly make a cameo in the future Superman movie.
Will, 32, who’s an ABC Information correspondent, was spotted filming a scene of the movie, per a area news outlet in Cleveland. Will is reportedly established to play a Television set information reporter in the movie.
The outlet reported that Will “received a hug from director James Gunn and a round of applause from solid and crew members on set” right after ending his scene.
Will’s involvement in the Superman movie is fitting, contemplating his father portrayed the iconic superhero for numerous many years.

Christopher performed the titular character in 1978’s Superman: The Motion picture and reprised his purpose for 3 sequels between 1980 and 1987, including, Superman II, Superman III and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
A lot less than a 10 years later, Christopher fell off a horse and was still left quadriplegic. The psychological documentary titled Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, which debuted at this year’s Sundance Film Competition, chronicled how his lifetime changed right after the incident, which includes his death of coronary heart failure in October 2004. He was 52 at the time.
Christopher is survived by daughter Alexandra and son Matthew, whom he shared with ex-wife Gae Exton, and Will, whom he shared with spouse Dana Reeve. (Dana died of lung cancer in 2006.) All 3 of his little ones appeared in the documentary.
The new Superman motion picture was introduced in January 2023, on the heels of the information that Henry Cavill would not be participating in the titular character.

“I just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and it’s unhappy information, every person,” Cavill, 41, wrote by means of Instagram in December 2022. “I will, following all, not be returning as Superman. Right after currently being advised by the studio to announce my return again in October, prior to their retain the services of, this information is not the least complicated, but which is existence.”
Months later on, it was announced by DCU that David Corenswet would be portraying the superhero.
Though the plot has remained below wraps, cochair of DC Studios Safran explained Superman would not be an “origin tale.”
“It focuses on Superman balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing,” Safran advised The Hollywood Reporter in January 2023. “He is the embodiment of real truth, justice and the American way. He is kindness in a world that thinks that kindness is old-fashioned.”
Superman is established to strike theaters on July 11, 2025.
