A TEENAGE girl and driver have been killed in a horror crash outside a racecourse – as a 16-year-old boy also fights for his life.
Hanna Green, 16, tragically died in a car crash near Exeter Racecourse in the early hours of August 8.
The driver of a Silver Peugeot she was travelling in, an 18-year-old man, also died in the crash.
A 16-year-old boy remains in a critical condition in hospital, while a 14-year-old girl also suffered injuries.
It comes as Hanna’s family today paid heartbreaking tribute.
They said: “Hanna Green, of Kingsteignton, Devon, tragically died in a road traffic collision on Thursday 8 August.
“Hanna was a beloved daughter, sister, and a great friend to many.
“The family are grateful for the comfort and support which they have received and experienced over the past few days, and respectfully request that family and friends are allowed to grieve in private at this very difficult time.”
She had been travelling as a passenger in a silver Peugeot 107 when the incident happened around 1.20am.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police added: “The 18-year-old male driver also died in the single-car collision while three other teenage passengers were injured.
“A 16-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl were left in critical condition while another 16-year-old girl sustained less serious injuries.
“Specialist officers from the Serious Collisions Investigation Team are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
They are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage which may help with enquiries.”
