Ali Krieger confirmed the identity of her new girlfriend, Scottish soccer player Jen Beattie, with a heartfelt Instagram post.
Krieger and Beattie had been rumored to be dating following Krieger’s divorce from Ashlyn Harris. The new couple confirmed they’re more loved-up than ever by sharing Thanksgiving tributes to one another via their Instagram Stories on Thursday, November 28.
Beattie, 33, uploaded a photo of the women laughing together at a restaurant and captioned it, “Thankful for you. Happy Thanksgiving my love @alikrieger ❤️”
Over on her own Instagram Story, Krieger, 40, reshared the post and added her own caption.
“You have no idea.. ❤️❤️❤️” she wrote.

While Krieger has avoided naming her new partner in media interviews over the past few months, the retired soccer player previously teased details of her new romance.
“I’m dating a wonderful person right now, who I really, really like,” Krieger revealed on an episode of the “She Pivots” podcast in July. “I’m, you know, so grateful that we met.”
The athlete added that the “timing was really great because I gave myself time,” noting that the romantic break was “maybe forced time” following a messy split from Harris.
Krieger explained to E! News in September that she was being careful to keep the identity of her new love under wraps due to the drama surrounding her previous relationship.
“I’m trying to keep it private now,” she told the outlet. “[With] everything I went through last year, I want to keep that more so for me and for her. I think it’s really important that I take this process slower, have a good concern for it and make sure that it’s moving in the right direction before any big announcement.”
Krieger and Harris, 39, called it quits in 2023 after four years of marriage. (Harris filed for divorce that September and Krieger followed suit in December 2023.)
The former couple, who first met through the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team in 2010, adopted their daughter, Sloane, in 2021, followed by son Ocean in 2022.
Harris moved on with One Tree Hill’s Sophia Bush, 42, shortly after the marriage breakdown. The actress confirmed the relationship in April by penning a personal essay for Glamour and coming out as queer.
The breakdown of Harris and Krieger’s relationship was thrust back into the spotlight earlier this week when Harris claimed the pair weren’t “intimate the entire part” of their marriage.

“I just felt like I wasn’t a priority,” Harris explained on the Monday, November 25, episode of the “Naked Sports With Cari Champion”.
She added: “I didn’t feel that sense of connection, whether emotional or physical. It was soccer, job, kids, and then somewhere down the line it was like, ‘Okay, what about me?’”
Harris claimed that she even suggested having an open marriage in an last ditch attempt to salvage their marriage.
“I felt so embarrassed and I felt so much shame that I didn’t know how to tell people that, like, oh, my wife doesn’t want to touch me or doesn’t want to be intimate or doesn’t want this,” she said.
