Upcoming locations to be featured include the European coast resorts of Spain and Portugal.

More on A Place In The Sun

In the first episode, will see Laura help a couple from Shoreham-by-Sea to look at Pueblos Blancos in Andalucia. The couple has a budget of £100,000 leaving Laura to get savvy as she looks for five properties to tempt them into buying abroad.

The episode will also feature Carol and David from Hertfordshire with their budget of £225,000 looking for property in Valencia, Spain.

The third couple looking for their dream home includes Bridget and Paul looking to put down roots in the Canary Islands with a budget of £160,000.

Earlier this year viewers were left without their holiday property fix as A Place In The Sun came off air to make way for the Paralympics on Channel 4.

Fans were also left concerned earlier this year when Channel 4 made budget cuts across programmes, and it looked like A Place In The Sun would be affected.

Yet in a rare move, Channel 4 has now commissioned a new series of the spin-off, A Place In The Sun: What Happened Next.

The show sees presenters such as Jasmine Harman and Laura Hamilton revisit the people they have helped to relocate over the years.

Each TV personality will catch up with the house hunters that they assisted in their quest to move abroad.

Daytime commissioner Jo Street explained: “A Place in the Sun is such a beloved show, and we know the audience really cares what happens to the house-hunters once the cameras leave.

“What a treat to catch up and see what happened when that offer was finally accepted.”

A Place In The Sun is available to watch on Channel 4 from Monday to Friday at 4pm.
