A Guide to the Most Star-Studded Celeb Appearances on Fox's 'Accused'

Fox’s Accused relies on an element of suspense and star-studded celebrity appearances to keep viewers on the edge of their sets.

The crime drama, which debuted in 2023, is based on Jimmy McGovern‘s 2010 British series of the same name. Each episode of Accused introduces the accused — who is always just an ordinary person — without knowing their crime or how they ended up on trial. The audience is then told the events that lead them there from the defendant’s point of view.

Season 1 featured familiar faces including Rachel Bilson, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Wendell Pierce, Whitney Cummings and Rhea Perlman. There were also appearances from Jason Ritter, Abigail Breslin, Aisha Dee and more celebrities.

There isn’t too much known about which topical issues will be covered on season 2. But Fox has teased some of the cast including Patrick J. Adams, William H. Macy, Justin Chambers, Danny Pino and Nick Cannon. Sonequa Martin-Green, Mike Colter, Jamie Chung, Sherri Saum and Kiara Barnes were announced as well.

Keep scrolling to see the stars set to make their Accused on season 2:

Felicity Huffman
Huffman made her return to TV in 2023 after her involvement in the college admissions scandal. Her first leading role after serving time for fraud charges was a backdoor pilot for The Good Doctor titled The Good Lawyer. Huffman was subsequently cast to play Dr. Jill Gideon on Paramount+’s Criminal Minds: Evolution and is now set to star in the season 2 premiere of Fox’s Accused.

William H. Macy
Macy is joining wife Huffman in the season 2 premiere titled “Lorraine’s Story.” Based on the synopsis, Huffman is a psychic medium who attempts to help a couple desperately looking for their missing son.
Huffman and Macy have shared the screen before, appearing in 1992’s The Water Engine and 1993’s A Slight Case of Murder.

Taylor Schilling
Schilling, who is known for her role on Orange Is the New Black, is the lead of the “April’s Story” episode in season 2. Not much is known about the role except her character appears to be a nurse — but the story seems to be set outside of the hospital.

Danny Pino
After capturing Us’ attention as Nick Amaro on Law & Order: SVU, Pino is sharing the screen with Schilling.

Justin Chambers
Chambers is trading in his Grey’s Anatomy scrubs for a suit during his episode of Accused. It’s his second gig since abruptly exiting the medical drama in 2020.
