FORMER President Donald Trump is set to speak at the Republican National Convention for the first time tonight since the assassination attempt on his life Saturday.
Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was able to climb a roof at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday that had a clear view of former President Trump.
Crooks fired eight rounds bloodying the former president’s ear as he was escorted away by Secret Service agents.
Trump has arrived and is expected to take the RNC stage tonight at 9:09 pm CT.
Other guests anticipated to speak tonight include Tucker Carlson, Hulk Hogan, Dana White, Alina Habba, and more.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party is in disarray after it has been revealed President Biden has tested positive for Covid-19.
Former President Barack Obama believes Biden’s “path to victory has greatly diminished and he thinks the president needs to seriously consider the viability of his candidacy,” according to the Washington Post.

“I’m proud to say that tonight my mom is here 10 years clean and sober. I love you mom.”
Beverly appeared to be moved to tears as she rose from her seat in the audience.
Her proud son added, “Mom, I was thinking, it will be 10 years officially in January 2025, and if President Trump’s okay with it, let’s have the celebration in the White House.”

Former president Donald Trump met with Secret Service chief Kim Cheatle ahead of his speech tonight, ABC News reports.
The two met at Trump’s hotel in Milwaukee but it has not been revealed what was discussed during the meeting, the outlet reported.
This comes after the former president survived an assassination attempt on his life during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Inside Trump’s friendship with Linda McMahon
Trump’s friendship with the McMahons extends to Vince’s wife, Linda, who gave Trump a standing ovation after his Hall of Fame speech.
Linda, 75, served as the Administrator of the Small Business Administration in Trump’s cabinet between 2017 to 2019.
She stepped down to focus on helping with Trump’s reelection campaign and currently serves as the chairwoman for the America First Action Super PAC.
However, she would later donate $6 million to the Rebuilding America Now Super PAC that aired commercials supporting Trump’s campaign once he was named the Republican nominee.

Hulk Hogan – real name Terry Gene Bollea – is expected to appear as a speaker on Thursday, day four of the RNC, along with Linda McMahon, wife of former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
The Hulkster’s support for his fellow WWE Hall of Famer goes back to Trump’s first bid for the White House in 2015 after admitting to TMZ that he wanted to be his running mate.
“I don’t want to be in the ring with any candidates. I want to be Trump’s running mate,” Hogan, 70, said when asked which candidate he’d want to fight.
“Did you hear that? Vice President Hogan,” he added.
