Eddie Murphy has welcomed 10 youngsters around the a long time — and he’s spoken highly about each individual member of his blended brood.
“I am so blessed with my kids. I really do not have one undesirable seed,” the Saturday Night Live alum stated in the course of a March 2021 visual appearance on Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast. “I really don’t have any like ‘Oh, you are the 1.’ I really don’t have any of that. My kids are so good, regular men and women — and nobody is like the Hollywood jerk kid.”
Murphy turned a father for the first time in July 1989 when his then-girlfriend Paulette McNeely gave beginning to their son, Eric. The comedian then welcomed two much more small children in the next 16 months — daughter Bria in November 1989 with Nicole Mitchell and son Christian in November 1990 with Tamara Hood.
On marrying Mitchell in March 1993, the pair went on to welcome 5 more small children, like son Miles, born in November 1992, and daughters Shayne, Zola and Bella born in October 1994, December 1999 and January 2002, respectively. They finalized their divorce in April 2006.
Murphy afterwards moved on with former Spice Female Mel B and insisted on a paternity test when she turned expecting in 2006. Mel B gave start to Angel in April 2007, and Murphy was verified to be the father.
