A FIREFIGHTER has been accused of using a image of a lethal car or truck crash victim and sending it to his friends.
Cameron Hancel, 33, appeared in court docket on Tuesday charged with wilfully misconducting himself as the holder of a public place of work.
He is also stated to have despatched messages that were being “grossly offensive” in conjunction with the deadly collision.
The alleged incident happened in March 2023.
It is recognized that the then-serving firefighter was attending the scene of a deadly car or truck crash.
Courtroom documents state that Hancel, of Rowley Regis, West Midlands, took steps which amounted to “an abuse of the public’s rely on.”
The scenario was sent to Wolverhampton crown courtroom, with a plea and demo preparation scheduled for August 6.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Hearth Services reported: “Cameron Hancel has not labored for us due to the fact August 2023.
“It would be inappropriate for us to remark on an ongoing prosecution.”
