‘Human body parts’ found inside two suitcases dumped on Clifton Suspension Bridge as cops hunt ‘suspicious man’ who fled

A SUITCASE containing human remains has been located by police in Bristol.

Officers said they received reports of a man with a suitcase acting suspiciously on Clifton Suspension Bridge at 11.57pm yesterday.

They arrived at the scene within ten minutes, but the man had already left the area, leaving the suitcase behind.

Major Crime Investigation Team have launched an investigation and is prioritising the identification of the man who left the suitcase and the deceased.

Acting Briston Commander Vicxks Hayward-melen said: “This is a very disturbing incident and I fully recognise the concern it will be causing our communities.

“The investigation is being led by our Major Crium Investigation Team and involves specialist officers and staff from across our organisation.”
