‘It would cost £102 in Asda’ mums rave about Aldi’s school uniform saying ‘you won’t find it cheaper anywhere else’

SHOPPERS are racing to Aldi to pick up their new range of school uniforms, after the supermarket slashed prices even before the clothes reached the shelves.

Aldi’s school uniforms landed in stores yesterday, July 4th and include a pleated skirt for just £1.75 and a sweatshirt for just £1.50.

Parents can also pick up a bundle containing tow polo shirts, one sweatshirt or cardigan and a choice of trousers, skirt or cargo shorts for just £5.

Mums have been raving about the prices online, with one shopper taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group, to share how many items she managed to pick up for £11.

In the video, she said: “Get down to Aldi guys.

“I paid £11 for all of this school uniform”.

Showing viewers her haul, she revealed that she had managed to bag two polo shirts, two normal shirts, two jumpers, two pairs of trousers, two pairs of cargo shorts.

“You won’t find them cheaper anywhere else”, she said, before adding that all of the clothes have adjustable waists.

However, the mum warned that her local supermarket is already nearly sold out, so urged shoppers to get down to Aldi quick.

The post was flooded with responses from parents, many of whom praised Aldi over their cheap uniform.

One person said: “These prices are hard to beat”.

Another person said: “What a bargain”.

A third person added: “I always buy uniforms from Lidl or Aldi”.

A fourth added: “I went as soon as they opened yesterday! Got everything for £48 and it would have cost me £102 for same stuff at Asda! Bargain!

“It was ransacked though because all the staff were scanning them through for themselves.”

A fifth said: “Really good school uniform.
