EMMERDALE viewers have begged bosses to ‘cut short’ one of the soap’s most talked about storylines.
Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Tom King (James Chase) tied the knot earlier this calendar year.

In a harrowing plot line in the ITV soap, Tom has subjected Belle to actual physical and emotional abuse.
Monday’s (June 25) episode took the tale in a total new course.
Just after finding out Belle secretly aborted their toddler, owning instructed him she’d miscarried, Tom went into a blind rage.
Even though taking out his anger on whatsoever he could in the barn, the villain strike the rotary isolator with a rusty metallic bar, which knocked him unconscious.

“You, us, but I’m listed here. I am nevertheless here and I am never leaving you.”
Not all of the soap’s viewers have been impressed by the storyline, with a number of taking to social media to share their ideas.
On X, previously Twitter, a single penned: “Can you spare us any far more of this nonsense and cut this storyline limited?”
A different wrote: “Just get rid of him – vile storyline a single of many in Emmerdale they cram so significantly misery, soreness, violence, loss of life and cruelty viewers can’t get it critically.
“Get rid of writers and producer who is just aged staff members promoted – clean up sweep required!”
Though a 3rd commented: “I am fed up of observing Tom’s storyline going on far to lengthy.
“Hope Belle leaves him.”
