Maren Morris’ new tune with Julia Michaels will have listeners in their feels.
The very first keep track of from Morris’ forthcoming EP, Intermission, “Cut!” captures the singer’s inner dialogue of attempting to surface ideal each day — whilst slipping aside privately at night.

“Cut!” is Morris’ 2nd collaboration with Michaels, 30. The pair cowrote “Circles All-around This Town” in 2020, which went on to gain two Grammy nominations. In addition to Morris and Michaels, “Cut!” was also cowritten by Caroline Allin and Joel Very little, with creation by Tiny.
There are five tracks on Morris’ approaching EP, which drops on August 2, such as: “Cut!,” “I Hope I Never Tumble in Like,” “Push Me Over,” “Because, Of Course” and “This Is How a Woman Leaves.”
Morris, who is in the center of her RSVP Redux tour, beforehand debuted her song “I Hope I Hardly ever Tumble in Love” in the course of a June 12 concert at Pink Rocks in Colorado.
