Blake Lively is just like Us — she’ll do anything for a plump lip.

Lively, 37, took to Instagram on Monday, October 28, to show off her perfectly lined pout, courtesy of makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez, before going to the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City. “When @cgonzalezbeauty does the Gen Z eye shadow lip trick to make your lips look huge,” she captioned a post of her full, pink lips, which Gonzalez created by lining her pout with eyeshadow and filling them in with Armani’s Beauty Lip Power stain in the shade 106.

In a separate snap, Lively showed off a fresh face and her natural lip size. “But then you wash off your makeup & accept that you’re a millennial girl who, in high school used to wear lip gloss with alarming amounts of chili peppers inside for a plump because we were THAT committed to bad ideas,” she joked.

Lively continued: “Turns out, eyeshadow is way less painful than Carolina Reapers. Thank you @cgonzalezbeauty for not turning my mouth into an episode of Hot Ones.”
