Nurse who ‘lied about staying in Army’ claimed she was shot whilst serving in Afghanistan, court docket is advised

A NURSE lied about getting an Army important and her professional medical qualifications and knowledge, a court docket heard.

She is accused of lying on software forms to secure a ward supervisor publish in a unit for sick and premature tots.

Emma Harris, prosecuting,  informed the jury Nasir, 45,  was “responsible for the treatment of new child babies”, positioning the “most vulnerable of individuals at risk”.

In January 2020, just after five months  at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend, South Wales, Nasir faced a revalidation of her Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.

Having said that,  her line supervisor noticed inconsistencies in her CV and she was suspended. 

The jury  listened to these included two pretend levels and claims to have labored with  untimely infants at  Chelsea and Westminster Medical center, West London, from 2010 to  2015.

She also claimed to have worked for the West Hertfordshire Hospitals Belief and in the grownup intense treatment unit at Watford  Healthcare facility.

Ms Harris said there was no file she experienced the positions and stated of her CV:  “They contained degrees  she just did not maintain, they contained experience  she did not and could not have acquired.”

The jury also read Nasir falsely claimed she is  a Royal Health-related Corps big and was shot in Afghanistan.

But she experienced unsuccessful a  basic exercise examination in 2010 and had  in no way found active services.

Ms Harris stated Nasir was convicted of benefit fraud in 2010 though finding out for a nursing diploma at Buckinghamshire New College.
