Jenn Tran compared her Dancing With the Stars partner Sasha Farber to “a little teddy bear” — and Us is obsessed.

“He makes things challenging for me because he knows I can handle it,” Tran, 26, said when she spoke exclusively to Us at the Us Weekly + Pluto TV Reality Stars of the Year Party at the Dream Hotel on Thursday, October 10. “But I would never describe Sasha as tough.”

Tran said that Farber, 40, is constantly there for her during DWTS rehearsals — and beyond.

“[He] always wants to make sure that I’m OK. I wouldn’t really describe him as tough,” she continued. “He really just pushes me to be my best. But he also is very, very caring. He’s such a compassionate guy.”

While Tran and Farber seem to be the perfect pair on and off the dancefloor, they do seem to butt heads over one thing: her punctuality.

“Sasha hates when I’m late,” Tran told Us. “I’m kind of a timely person, depending on the time, on the day, but he is so punctual. Sometimes he’ll pick me up for rehearsals just because driving is a lot, and I hate it. He’ll like, come five minutes early and he’ll expect me to be there.”

Tran joined Dancing With the Stars season 33 mere hours after her live The Bachelorette season finale came to an end. She told Us that both reality shows are “stressful,” but in different ways.

“A lot less crying [on DWTS], I’d say for sure,” Tran quipped. “I’m really surprising myself and I am being vulnerable in different ways. On The Bachelorette, you’re so vulnerable with your emotions, and when you’re dancing, you’re being vulnerable in terms of the way you move your body.”

The reality star has really honed in on her “confidence” for Dancing With the Stars.

“It’s, like, believing in yourself and it’s been taking a toll, but I’m learning so much and I feel myself getting stronger every day,” Tran explained. “It’s working different muscles for me mentally, too.”

Physically? Tran feels “like an old grandma,” she joked to Us.

“My hips are out of place. I have to go to the physical therapist every day to get them, like, popped out. Then, my neck has been killing me because you’re always constantly in this frame all the time and working muscles that you don’t usually use every day. My body is worn down.”

All of that aside, Tran is gearing up to perform a foxtrot to “The Archer” by Taylor Swift during the Tuesday, October 15 episode of DWTS.

“I am the biggest Swiftie ever,” Tran gushed. “I’m just so happy. I’m living dreams out dancing on Dancing With the Stars, but to dance to a Taylor Swift song is a completely different dream.”
