Female engineer, 27, crushed to death by steamroller on construction site

A YOUNG engineer has been crushed to death by a steamroller in a shocking work place accident.

Rafaela Martins de Araujo, 27, was working at the Petrobras oil firm in Macae, Brazil when the tragic accident happend.

Rafaela was an employee of a third-party company that provides services to Petrobras.

The steamroller was being used in the site’s waste shed area when its brakes malfunctioned and operators could not control it.

The heavy piece of machinery ended up crushing Rafaela.
