A HOMEOWNER has shared her trick for making laundry day less stressful.
The whole household partakes in the system that helps keep their piles sorted.

Redditor Aggressive_system192 explained how she uses an affordable buy in her pursuit to make things more organized.
“I have a multi-basket rack system on wheels from Amazon to sort clothes by the type of wash they need,” she said.
“Once a basket is full, it gets washed. I have a separate basket for underwear and one for socks since I run out of those faster.”
She now has plenty of organized piles in her home.
“I have one for each member of the family. Mine is underwear, socks, and dresses. Husband’s is jeans, T-shirts, sweatpants, socks, and underwear,” she said.
“This way, if something is washed, but not put away, we know in which pile to look,” she continued.
“Each person keeps their multi-basket system in their closet/room. Sheets and towels go to the common area/laundry.”
It seems that she was finally washing her washing day worries away.
“What was driving me insane is the sorting of dirty clothes,” she said.
“It got my hands dirty and dry. I inhaled particles and it made my nose run and throat itchy – allergic to dust – and it would be so time-consuming,” she added.
“Now that the sorting is gone, it’s just wash a pile, put it away, or put it in a laundry net to put away later,” she said.
She also shared another pro tip – keeping stain remover next to each basket.
“This way I can just spray and throw in the wash and not have to dig through piles of dirty clothes to treat stains,” she said.

Tip to remove yellow sweat stains
Yellow armpit stains affects everyone, whether people care to admit to it or not. But there is help at hand. To remove yellow stains from your clothing, experts recommend the following methods:
- Baking soda paste: The pros at The Laundry Cafe recommend mixing one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide with one tablespoon of salt, and ½ cup of baking soda. Apply directly to the stain with a toothbrush, rub, and let the mixture sit for at least an hour, then wash as normal.
- Oxygen bleach: This method is just as useful for removing yellow stains. Mix one part of oxygen-based bleach with one part of ammonia in a non-metal bowl. Wear gloves during this application. Rub into the fabric with a toothbrush and allow the solution to sit for at least ten minutes before laundering as normal.
- Stain remover or detergent: Stains on collars can be stubborn to remove as armpit stains. So pretreat the area using a solvent-based stain-removing agent or detergent. Work the product into the collar with a toothbrush and allow it to sit for at least ten minutes before washing.
