A BRIT tourist has gone missing on the Greek island of Rhodes – launching a desperate search.
The unnamed 48-year-old was last seen yesterday after swimming with his niece on Theologos Beach.
The Brit was with his family visiting the island on holiday before vanishing.
The tourist’s niece left the beach and called the police when the family hadn’t heard from him for several hours, local reports claim.
Cops are coordinating with the coast guard and boat owners in the area to investigate.
It comes as a 66-year-old Brit was pulled unconscious from the water after swimming at Achladies beach in Skiathos.
The Brit was on holiday in Greece and went down from her hotel to the beach for a swim on Friday, CNN Greece reports.
But she was soon found by a lifeguard, who pulled her out of the water onto the shore.
As days earlier a 71-year-old old British tourist was pulled unconscious from the sea in Greece.
The woman was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead after being found near the town of Gouvia, Corfu.
An investigation is being carried out by the Central Port Authority of Corfu, while an autopsy has also been ordered, local media iefimerida reported.
