Tanyel, who starred on Winter Love Island in January 2023, has told followers about her hair transplant procedure as she calls it ‘the best thing I’ve ever done’.
Sharing a video to her Instagram, Tanyel told followers about her hair transplant experience as she opened up in a video to camera.
She pointed out her new hairline as she said: “Best thing I’ve ever done. Honestly look how good my hairline looks?
“I’m so in love with it.”
In the video she reveals that she’s breaking down the full experience into a series of videos, but starts by explaining where she went and why she chose to get the procedure done.
She explained: “They did say I could go lower here [points to hairline], but I just didn’t want them to take anymore hair and I was a bit scared as they shave your head.
“I was a little bit nervous and I only really wanted the corners filled in.”
Detailing the full tests and procedure she underwent at HairNeva in Istanbul, Turkey, Tanyel also revealed they shaved a section of her head before implanting them along her front hairline.
She also added: “Hair is a big thing for me, and I’m a hairdresser too so it’s big for me.”
Fans have praised her honesty as one commented on the video: “Your honesty about your journeys is so refreshing, especially on social media these days.
“I’m sure your honesty will help a lot of girls out there thinking about hair transplants.”
Another added: “U look beautiful hope this helps you find more security with your self confidence.”
“I love how real and honest you are Tanyel,” said a third.
During her Love Island stint, Tanyel coupled up with best pal Ron Hall in a purely platonic manner, as well as Kai Fagan.
However failing to find love she was dumped from the island, but quickly found love with property developer Ediz.
The engaged hair stylist from North London announced she had said ‘I do’ to her property developer partner in November last year.
The romantic proposal came in Istanbul, Turkey whilst the pair enjoyed a holiday together.
In November last year she told The Sun: “I kind of had a feeling from the beginning of the holiday that he would propose.
“I thought ‘isn’t it a bit strange that my family are flying out two days later?’
“He’s older, I know he’s ready to settle down and have kids, so I had a feeling but I wasn’t 100% sure.”
She revealed how she felt after Ediz proposed as she added: “It was crazy. I feel like this is the quickest that anyone has gotten engaged after Love Island. It’s very mad, but it’s really exciting.
“Obviously I said yes. I was really excited. I couldn’t believe it. I was so excited. My ring is yellow gold. It’s exactly how I wanted it. The clarity is so good, it’s amazing.”
